Dr. Robin A. Ely is a 1977 graduate of Georgetown University Medical School and completed her family medicine residency at the Prince Georges Hospital and Medical Center of Cheverly, Maryland in 1981. Dr. Ely established a private practice in Integrative Medicine. In 1984 she helped facilitate the development and worldwide approval of an enzyme replacement drug for Gaucher Disease and was a founding member, President, and Medical Director of the National Gaucher Foundation. Currently Dr. Ely is the Medical director of the NGF diagnostic and optimal health initiatives. From 2004-2015 Dr. Ely was involved in information technologies for healing.
From 2015 to the present, she has been an active board member and clinical advisor to iCAN and its subsidiaries, EndoCRO (product R&D) and CannaTech (international cannabis conference). Dr. Ely is a certifying cannabis physician in the states of Maryland, Florida, and New York. She is an advisor to companies developing cannabis based food and beverage products, and gives lectures to both medical professionals and lay audiences. Dr. Ely is the mother of six children and grandmother of seventeen.
